History

Carolina Animators Anonymous began as a group of friends with a common interest in animation. It became an official UNC organization in Spring 2016.

We have collaborated with various on-campus organizations including the R.B. House Undergraduate Library, Splash UNC, and Arts Everywhere. We are always open to new opportunities. If you’d like to work with us, please contact us with more details.

In Spring 2018, a group of our members created a short animated film that went on to win the jury award at the Campus Movie Fest and was screened at Terminus in Atlanta, GA, as well the Cannes Film Festival.

In Fall 2020, our film “Snooze” won the jury award and the Silver Tripod award for Animation at the Campus Movie Fest.
